Born as the son of legendary late C Mamu Maulavi Gurukkal on 25th of January 1974, Dr. Saheer Ali has been hailed as the exemplary visionary to inherit the legacy of the traditional Ayurvedic treatments ever since he stepped into the professional career. Jeevess is the BrainChild of Dr. Saheer Ali as he had nurtured the idea for the past 10 to 15 years.

After completing his schooling from JDT Islam, Calicut and NSS College, Manjeri, Dr. Saheer Ali showed immense interest in following his father’s footsteps. He pursued BSc in Botany from Zamorin’s Guruvayurappan College, Calicut, as an initial step towards getting closer to the status of his first guru, his father. He further underwent professional training in BAMS and DYN from Alvas Ayurveda Medical College, Mangalore. Dr. Saheer Ali specializes at the same hospital in Bhagna Chikitsa, Kalari-marma chikitsa, yoga along with prominent traditional medications. At the renowned PNNM Ayurveda Medical College, Shornur, he is one among the fourteen faculties representing the Susrutham panel.

Right from his early days, Dr. Saheer Ali has demonstrated a keen interest in exploring Ayurveda and left no stone unturned in this endeavor. While undergoing training for Vedashakti Marma Chikitsa from Shanmugan Ashan at Thirumoolar Institute of Varmology, Coimbatore, he showcased his competency in Marma Chikitsa by curing the ailing patients. In many national seminars, his sessions won many accolades too. His intense pursuit for gaining new knowledge in the field of Kalari-Marma Chikitsa is still going fully-fledged with various other Gurus.

Presently, he is engaged as the Managing Director and Chief Physician at Shafi Dawa Khana (SDK), Calicut which was founded by his late father 60 years ago.

He is currently serving also as the secretary of Choorakodi Kalari Sangam, Calicut, and as the treasurer of Ayurveda Hospital Management Association of Calicut District.
