Before joining the Dept. of Indian Systems of Medicines at Kozhikode and Wayanad, he adorned the posts of Professor and HoD, and Chairman of Academic Committee at Santhigiri Ayurveda Medical College, Palakkad.

He also held the esteemed positions of Director, Principal, HoD (Salyatantra), and President, Faculty of Ayurveda at Ayurveda College, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Prior to this, he had a stint with the Dept. of Indian Systems of Medicine, Govt. of Kerala, and as the Medical Officer at District Ayurveda Hospital, Chelakkara.

He started his career with Ayurveda College, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, serving as a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in the Dept. of Salyatantra, and was actively involved in clinical teaching and patient care.

Dr. Sreevaths holds many honorary and executive memberships with various Ayurveda bodies of high repute across India.

He holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S) from the University of Calicut, and a Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Kerala.
